Lena & Moby

Aug 13, 2010 @ 1:07 A.M.

On a very inspiring Wednesday in a hot New York we met early morning with a just-woken-up Lena Dunham. 24-year old Lena won the SXSW award this year for best narrative (i.e. best film) feature film with "Tiny Furniture" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxWxgrwI8uI which was shot on a 25' usd budget. My favorite quote: "I'm not the one waiting around for things to happen, I don't like long processes. I'm happy to be a filmmaker in a time when the road between inspiration and making has become incredibly short."

After Lena, we had a lunch interview with Moby who could really give a panoramic perspective on what has happened since he started making music (which was about the same year I was born). All and all a fantastic talk and after having heard Moby say "the digital revolution" at least fifteen times during the interview I will now no longer hesitate to use this rather bombastic expression.

Viva la revolution digital!

I am just impressed that you can use the word bombastic correctly.

Good stuff.
