A couple of pixles

It’s very easy to forget how fast things change. I (David) remember the first time I saw a film clip on a computer. Me and my father were at some seminar where a couple of guys from Apple passionately demonstrated how they could take a ski film from their digital camera (which didn’t really have RED quality) and compress it to a file size so small that you could send it over e-mail. Back then everything over 500 kb was considered too big for the modems people were using. Imagine the size of the pixles! You could barely see what was happening on the miniature-sized player window - but we all thought it was amazing. In some way that moment made me understand that something was happening, or at least about to happen. Needless to say, a lot has happend since then.
