Say hello to Gabriel

Now you might be wondering why this superstar-like picture made its entrance to the blog. It's time for the next project-worker-profile, welcome Gabriel!

- Who are you?
It’s funny how that question is always so hard to answer… but I guess I’m somewhat of a film buff, basketball addict (at the moment), who’s also a vegetarian… I’m working as an editor here at House of Radon as well.

- What's your role in the PressPausePlay project?
The title would be assistant editor. I’m the guy who’s trying to make sure that David and Victor can edit this film as smoothly as possible.

- Which interview has been the most interesting to edit?
One that sticks out for me is Andrew Keen for some reason. Maybe it’s because he seems like the villain in this movie, haha. No but it’s always fun with people that add some contrast to it I think.

- At what age did you start editing film?
Well, I edited film for the first time when I was 20 years old but I was about sixteen when I started editing video. I used pinnacle studios or something like that. Without saying anything bad about pinnacle studios or any other editing programs for that matter, I just have to mention that buying a mac and switching to fcp has probably been my best purchase ever.

- Your best secret tip for Final Cut Pro users?
Punch the buttons hard! You want it to feel like you’ve actually made a cut.Push ups during rendering is also a good one.

- Coolest film of 2010 so far?
A Serious Man. It came out 2009 in the U.S but here in Sweden we’re a bit behind sometimes.

- How will we look back at this period in time?
Personally I'm not going to look back at all. I'll just be enjoying even more and quicker access to media.
