Our guidance
So now we've spent a couple of days in isolation. Playing around with our material and starting to structure the interviews according to our rough story line. There is a lot of good stuff, some stuff we've forgot about or did not realize the potential of until now, and some stuff has been cut (for now anyways).
In this stage of the editing you always get the first wave of panic and start to question weather or not this will ever fit together in any way that makes any sense. This feeling usually only gradually disappears after the first cut, for me anyways. But i can kinda feel how small parts of the movie starts to come together in my head, and that is always is a good sign
Now i will take a break from my three screens and read my copy of "Making Ideas happen" that arrived today.
