Let us start by thanking all of you for making 2011 such a great year. PressPausePlay was selected to screen in over 35 film festivals all over the world, with more coming this year. The response overall has been so positive with many of you finding inspiration from the interactive version with extended content. We encourage you to download the film for screenings in your community to continue the discussion and to share your thoughts online.
On GigaOm last week they had an interesting post from Michael Wolf 'Why 2012 will be the year of the artist-entrepreneur'. They also see that digital tools and distribution have given artists the power to take control over their own economy. The most recent success story of artist-as-entrepreneur was Louis CK, who cut-out the corporate middlemen and put his latest concert video online for jut $5. We look forward to see what 2012 brings for all forms of content, from books, to video and music.
